Home from vacation and the Doodles survived!

A week ago I was writing about missing our doodles on vacation. We are home now and happily reunited. Charlie had a bad time for the first 24 hours or so but then settled down and Matt said he did fine the rest of the week. Of course, now that I am home, he is glued to my side.

We had a wonderful trip. I have to admit that there was a sense of freedom being kid and dog free for a whole week! We did see other animals. I was excited to see many whales breaching and spinner dolphins that played in the bay just a few feet from where I was snorkeling.

Still, it is good to be home!

Welcome back! Glad that you had a lovley time. I can't imagine what that freedom would be like...but then, I do believe that I understand the joy of returning home to the kids and dogs! (Work yes, joy...absolutely!)

Welcome home.....you know how that goes....Home is where the dogs are!!
I bet you are tan, running around in shorts.... it usually takes me a good week until I start getting back into the cold weather again!
