DELLA... IT'S YOUR BIRFDAY!!!
GOOD MORNING LITTLE ONE...
 GUESS WHAT TODAY IS???.....IT'S YOUR FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!  ... REALLY!!!ONE YEAR!!!.......LOOK AT HER... SHE LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE LADY!!!  WE HAD 2 DAYS OF BIRTHDAY FUN PLANNED... DAY 1... LONG ROMP AROUND THE LAKE!!!     AND... GUESS WHO GOT DIRTY???  THEN... THERE WAS CAKE!!!   DAY 2... HIKE UP SPRINGER MOUNTAIN (SOUTHERN END OF APPALACHIAN TRAIL) IT WAS FREEZING!!!  THE DOGS LOVED IT!!!   2.5 HOURS LATER... WE REACHED THE TOP...   Sam and the BIRFDAY GIRL at the TOP! Come HERE! Take a picture with ME!!!LET'S NOT FORGET TO MENTION... WRESTLE MANIA!!!  AND... ALTHOUGH THEY ARE OLDER... I AM HAPPY TO SEE SOME THINGS HAVE NOT CHANGED...  THE END...

Wow!! I want to come to your house for MY next birthday!! Maybe not the 2 1/2 hour hike in the cold though......

Thanks everyone! I cheated with Della's cake, I have been so busy with work I didn't bake her a cake like I did for Lucas... instead, she got a Jumbo low fat banana nut bread muffin that I iced with yogurt and rasberries... they loved it!!!
And Gene... it was actually a 4 hour hike from start to finish!!! YIKES!!!

 That's beautiful countryside you live in, what a great birthday treat....long romp topped off by yummy cake....I'll have to go into training now if Charlie is expecting a 4 mile hike for his birthday too

 Looks like Della loves cake as much as Lucee does. Only time when she cleans out her bowl faster than Rusty!! You are one lucky cute doodle to have two days of Birthday partying. I love where you hiked. Such beautiful scenery, even in winter. Thanks so much for my doodle photo fix! Love the photos!
