Okay, okay. I have to tell ya that we just can't!

But, I went as far as to map how long it would take to get to Youngstown, Ohio.....a bit over 4 hours.

I am, however, trying to figure out which of my neighbors would do it. So far, I can think of none.
My pledge to them would be that if they go ot of town, Scooby would stay with us. Scooby would also play with Bogart each and every day we are in town.
We would fully train Scooby.

Here's the dilemma. We couldn't take Scooby everywhere we take Bogart. I couldn't stand to leave him behind if we leave town or we go to the mall or out to dinner......or whatever. Even if I had him as an in training service dog, it would be a bit much throwing two of them under a table at a restaurant.

I have wracked my brain over this one. I haven't said a word to my husband as I know his first reaction would be to do it. But, he would come to his senses and consider even more reasons not to. Believe me, I know him.
He would, however, be totally in favor of sharing him with a neighbor close by.

If ONLY I could could get the retired couple next door to do it! I tried with them once when moviestar.....who lives close to me, drove down to get that one doodle in Monroe?? I think?? I laid out a plan for them as I mentioned above, but they wouldn't bite.
She...the neighbor..........loves Bogart and watches him out of her window all the time. She has his Christmas picture of him in his Santa hat on her fridge. Why won't she just do it?

I know they travel a lot, but I would cover that...............Just know that I'm not done thining this through yet!!

I know how you feel Linda - Scooby is so darn cute, as is Comet - if it were Not for the weather, I'd be at Gene's house this w/e getting both of them, but 8 hours in crappy weather thru the appalachian mountains is not gonna get it - I know Gene/Idog will find them both a wonderful forever family to live with.

Hopefully, we can get AB a playmate once spring arrives, I think AB and I have DH worn down finally, Gene keep sending those rescue doggie pics - D is softening with each one
