We are home and ALL tired!!!!! We were going to jump Dakota in 2 waves today BUT decided to do one wave today and another wave tomorrow. There is soooooo much excitment and hyperness that we decided 1 1/2 hours of Splash Dogs at a time is a good plan. Dakota was so beside himself with pure excitment, he literally howled at the top of his lungs between jumps--he was soooo jealous when he had to wait his turn and watch the other dogs!!!!
Oh!! And how'd he do??? Not bad at all!!!!!!! Why do I have to wait??????? I want to jump NOW!!! I WANT TO JUMP NOW!!!!!!! ![]() Finally!!!! Dakota gets a turn!!!! ![]() You all requsted a BIG SPLASH!!!!! ![]() And he gets his second jump!! --He got in about 3 practice jumps prior to the competition . . . ![]() Here's his landing. We have to work on style. We noticed that the dogs that jumped the farthest jumped up high and touched water with their rear end first.

AWWWWH!!! That is wonderful! I love the photos. Good luck in Day 2 - can't wait to see the photos.
We had the same thing happen when we took the doodles to our lure course. They were throwing fits during the time they had to wait
