Whoo Hooo Splash Dogs!!!!

Splash Dogs is in Sacramento today through Sunday!!!! I couldn't get off today but I am off tomorrow and Dakota is actually competing for the first time!!!!!!!

I entered him in the noon and 2pm waves. In all fairness to our little champ, many of these dogs travel with Splash Dogs (and/or Dock Dogs) and they practice consistently, soooooo, we're not expecting Dakota to break any of the other dog's records BUT we are expecting him to have the time of his doodle life!!!!!!

Wish us luck!! And, of course, I'll have my camera!

If you are in the Sacramento area and want to participate or just come to watch the fun, it is at Cal Expo during the sportsmans Show, Jan 15-18. You don't really have to enter in advance; if there are fewer the 15 teams in each wave, you can enter at the event. The cost is $20 per wave and you get 2 jumps per wave plus practice before the wave. Or for $10 you can just practice during the lag time between events--that's what we did last year. We would love to see some of our forum friends there! And if you miss Sacramento, Splash Dogs is coming to Auburn in mid May. We'll be there too!!! Here's a link to Splash Dogs coming events:
