Deb on TV

Hey everybody! I haven't been on here in "forever", but, I do pop in occassionally and read some of the posts.

I just had to pop in and say that I just saw Deb and Diva on the news here in San Diego! They were talking about the Obama's narrowing down their choice of dogs to a Labradoodle and a Portuguese Water Dog. They interviewed Deb and showed Diva and then had Diva in the studio. She behaved like a perfect Lady!
They also did the same with a Portuguese Water Dog. The owner of the PWD said how they really like to work and stay busy or they will find something to do (as in, watch out if you don't keep them busy!) I think the Obama's would be crazy not to pick the Labradoodle! Go Deb!

Hi Annmarie! I know it's been too long! I've stopped in enough to know that you went from 2 to 3 LDs, then back to 2!

Doc is now 3 and doing very well. He's still best buds with Daisy, our chihuahua!

Whenever I come here, I'm so impressed at how nice everyone is and there's none of the bickering that goes on at some other forums! I can't keep up with more than one or two and I've been more involved with a horse forum since I got the horses. I will try not to be so invisible!

I was off today and saw the show this morning. The doodle was quite impressive -- just laying down on the floor ..... soakin up the lights from the cameras -- calm as he could be with a little tongue hangin out.

They did emphasize the Obamas would still rather have a rescue (from one of these two breeds). I'm sure they've got plenty of people researching it hard.

Did you also catch the segment on Fox and Friends? Had a PWD and Chocolate doodle...don't know who the doodle handler was (I caught the end) but in a recap she said the doodle was "difficult to train"

Don't know what planet she was from...

Does Deb come on to this forum anymore? It's been a while since I've seen her. I can't remember the name of her breeding operation, even though I helped her by being at the delivery when Diva had her first litter of puppies and then going over to help her out with the puppies several times.

Hi Kim! Welcome back! Deb does stop in. She is A Sky View Labradoodles, I think. That is so great she was on TV with Deva!

Deb does post her sometimes...not a lot but sometimes...I am sure she will be checking in soon.
