Poor Tyke! Hope she's feelin' better soon!
If she likes crunching on ice cubes, maybe you could give her some of those too?

Tyke LOVES ice cubes - something to play with and eat! We've been giving them to her even more over the last couple of days.
She slept through the night, no poopies this morning (not enough in her stomach, I guess!) She seems to be on the road to recovery - just scarfed down a little chicken and rice and looked at me like "WHERE IS THE REST OF MY BREAKFAST??????"
BaBa will keep an eye on her, and since I only have two classes to teach today, if she needs me I can come home to take her to the vet. Keeping my fingers crossed, but it looks like she is out of the woods! Thanks for your good wishes and advice!! I love this forum!!! (and the people on it!)

glad to hear she's better. We actually go with just plain old rice when they have belly issues. Then we'll add in their kibble slowly once they start to firm up. They love rice - they don't even require the chicken...haha...

Oh you can also give some pineapple which I was told calms the stomach. Also, I'll make pumpkin/yogurt ice cubes. The pumpkin is also good for their system and yogurt is always good too.

I called BaBa about an hour ago to check in on Tyke - seems she is still "sleeping in" this morning! However, she hasn't asked to go outside yet, which is a GOOD sign! She will be plenty mad when I don't let her go running with me this afternoon - I'll probably have to sneak out of the house. What a relief that she is feeling better! We had so many stomach and eating issues with Fritzy when she got sick, it always gives me a little scare when Tyke doesn't clean her plate!
