Now I want you all to know we won't do this for at least five years. But I told my husband I wanted a Peanut colored doodle. And I really like how some of you have called your doodles Elmo. But I want another Girl doodle. So my husband says we can call her EMO.

I'm still hunting for a female Ozzie look-alike. The pet rescues and pounds here in NM seem to never get Doodles, but they'd be happy to give you a Pitbull/Chihuahua cross and tell you it's a Doodle!

I wanted a red one too but sdrudge already took Beau!
I think we will be stopping at two. We've spent the last few days agonizing over what to do with these doods during our vacation next summer. <sigh> I think a petsitter is going to cost as much as my vacation! LOL! Deb

haha...5 yrs? We'll see about that. Once you start talking about it...it's only a matter of time before the next doodle joins the family.

I know that we set 2 to 5 years for another dog when we got Buddy. It was 3 months later when we got Tia. Of course in that time period we lost our dear Bridgette and Buddy was so lonely. We could not stand being a one dog family so the rest is history! It seems that once we make up our mind we find we can't wait!!!

And of course, once you've got 3, you might as well get another so that they can pair off....after all, 3's an awkward number, and if you have 3, 4 makes no difference
