I was all about girls until I got Charlie.....one of his testicles didn't drop, so we had him fixed early. I think he is the more affectionate of my two (although my girl isn't a doodle) -- he is more accepting of anyone (dog doesn't know a stranger) -- a little goofy but totally a people pooch and a trip hazard (since he is always right there!) - I wouldn't hesitate to get another boy.
