Well, i do hope Charlie isn't going to make a career out of this! He 'returned' my daughter's knickers from the depths 2 days ago, and then last night he gobbled down one of my other dogs' leads
Fortunately about an hour ago he pood out the lead...I had the delightful job of checking to see what was there Hopefully he will behave himself for a while now...I'm confining him to quarters and wherever I go he has to come too, so that I can watch him!

The whole lead, eh? What was that 4 feet, 6 feet? Even if your dad had caught the end, he'd have to pull all that out and that sure wouldn't have been comfortable for your doodle.
Charlie, what are you thinking? Are they not feeding you enough? Do you have any bones to chew on? You need to give your mama a break! Deb

Our Charlie ate an entire leash a few weeks ago too. I have no idea when or where, because I'm home all the time with him. Suddenly he threw up...and there it was. What a shock.
Thankfully I'd cut the broken metal clasp off the end. I gave it to him to play with because his leash was always a comfort/pacifier type toy since we rescued him at 4 months. He loves to put a leash in his mouth and play soccer with a tennis ball or play tug of war with it. Not any more! What also surprised me was that he had chewed it into 3 or 4 equal length pieces, almost as if he measured each one. They all came up together. |

ANN you and Dad might be taking guard duty shifts during the night if it keeps up WHEW glad to hear Charlie's decided to end your worries by returning the "borrowed" item. your poor dad ........may end up needing a stiff drink before his visit ends.

LOL 'Chips' are the long strips of potatoes that are deep-fried...they can be fat, when they're crisp on the outside and floury in the middle, or skinny (like McDonalds' ones) when they're crispy (sometimes

Oh my gosh! WHat is with these dogs?!?!
Last night Chance threw up a huge pile of felt strips from onen of those felt rope toys, and I thought that was bad! It's so tough being at my mom's house for the holidays, b/c her dogs are great with toys and other items that mine will either tear to bits or swallow in a heartbeat. Glad to hear the Charlies worked everything out ok!
