Goodness, Annie, you can't take your eyes off Charlie for a minute!
GREAT IDEA to put some spray on the leashes! Thanks for suggesting that. A few months ago, Charlie outgrew his harness, and we bought a new one for $23 at the pet store. The first time we put it on him for a walk, we stupidly left him for a couple minutes before adjusting the size...in those minutes he somehow got it in his mouth and chewed it straight through. He never even wore it once! Live and learn. Glad to know others of us are dealing with the same thing and can laugh about it. That helps, doesn't it! I do think it's harder than little kids...it's a lot harder to Doodle proof than baby proof! |

Too true, Pam...especially if other people don't really undertand dog development and think they should be 'better trained'....people seem to forget that a 6mth old puppy needs every bit as much understanding and leeway as, say, a 2 year old child!
