I've never seen Gracie pull any out until last night and I thought I got it all back from her right away. Apparently she is a closest stuffing eater and has her little binges secretively! I am SOOOOOOOO glad it came up!

OHHHH.....the poor baby!!
Looks like the fuzz would cause her the stomach distress for sure..
I hope she's getting better by the minute.
Sick pups and dogs make me so sad! Bogart went through weeks and weeks of stuff like this as a pupple. I have tons of stories on here from when he was a baby. I was worried sick!
Hoping all is well for little Gracie! I love that name!!

I'm so glad to hear that Gracie is going to be fine and that the mystery is solved. Puppies! Little angels BUT... maybe they should come with built in GPS systems, complete with cameras. Then when something *goes wrong* we'd be able to figure it out pretty darn fast!

Just a thought, but since Gracie seems to have eaten more stuffing than is missing from her toys, could she be destuffing something else from a spot that you can't easily see - like the bottom of a couch or chair, a pillow, a dog bed, or something like that?

Possible, but not likely. She is very much a velcro pupple. And she loves to be ON the furniture, not under it!

Due to Finn wanting to make all dog beds and cushions his girlfriend, those are all hidden away...

Susan , not sure if it's a doodle trait or from my breeder's dogs but i will say this BOTH Max/Peanut and other friends that have goldendoodles
from same person but they do STOP defuzzing for the most part as they mature .....and if they do still defuzz on a rare moment, they STOP EATING it!

Goldendoodles however have those "front nippers" that are awesome shredders as puppies. REMEMBER PEANUT to this day loves winter time
cause she walks around dining room table chairs and unzips pockets and bookbags to get paper items. (yes it's a warning hahhaaa)
I also find GD's dont' swallow things they perfer to chew, shred and eat bits and pieces. Soooooooo in future a marrow bone might be in order

Good news! Gracie kept her dinner just where it belonged. No more puking and last night, just before bed a nice solid poop. AND she is full of energy this morning!

Thank you all for your concern and well wishes! I'm so happy my baby is feeling better.

Sounds like She's ready for a big juicy RAW meaty bone! I gave Abby a piece of Sliced Beef Shank w/bone and the first thing she does is get the marrow out, then she eats the meat Takes her a 1/2 hour for the marrow and 5minutes for the meat. She reminds me of how kids eat the frosting off cupcakes

Glad Gracie is better!! I hope she stops eating the stuffing. Petsmart makes toys with squeakers but no stuffing.

Happy to hear that little Gracie is ok!!! Heather is right...I just bought a 'flat' , fluffy squeek toy for Raleigh yesterday from PetSmart...They're called 'Toy Shoppe' Dog Toy, and are $3.99...no stuffing!!! BUT...there's always a but, isn't there???...thre is a squeaker inside, and I'm sure Gracie like Raleigh will try to remove it!!

Little Gracie made it through the day just fine and she had another solid poop this afternoon! I am starting to think the stuffing (at least some of it) may have been in her tummy for awhile because she is WAY more active today than she has been since coming home. I lost count of the number of laps she did around the backyard when I got home! Maybe she's not really as calm as I thought she was!

I'm glad to hear that Gracie is better.
I would reccomend running a test for Giardia. Remy had this as a youngster and both the vet and I were suprised.
This causes inconsistant poo's and the test isn't that much for the piece of mind it brings. And the sooner its caught the quicker to treat.

I was finding stuffing around my house too and I inspected every toy pillow couch cushion and nada. Then while vaccuming from under the bed - VOILA! my cat had gotten up into the box spring and was pulling out the stuffing. Lucky for me Remy wouldn't eat the stuff, although he would chew it and leave little wet wads everywhere.
So if you can't find the source - check under the beds

Glad to hear Gracie is feeling better.

I've been lucky, Sadie has become a champion de-stuffer but she just chews the stuffing, doesn't eat it. She looks like she's chewing gum, then drops it and looks for more.

Good luck keeping Gracie from eating any more of it.
