I can't help but go back to the theory that BOTH dogs ingested SOMETHING unknown and it effected Maya longer. Prayers that it worked itself out of her system and she's all better now!!

Little story. My Springer got really sick one summer. 4 vets were involved in determining what was wrong to no avail.
He blew up like a balloon and was drinkng literally gallons of water and peeing like a race horse......for about 3 weeks!
I even happened to intercept a letter, by accident, between 2 of the vets.
The one vet wrote to the other someting to this effect:
I don't know what it is and have never seen anything like this before. This is one for the books!

My stepson was over one afternoon and was talking with us about this.
He said his cat had done the same thing. He searched online and found that the symptoms in his cat had to do with a PARASITE!!
No one ever discovered what was wrong....but I'm thinking it was the parasite theory.
