Default Teething

Hi
What is the best thing for teething relief for our puppy. Can I give him baby asprin , he weighs 24lbs. I think he is in discomfort and ice isn't helping.

Hi, unless the teeth are having trouble coming in, the puppy probably doesn't need any medication...but if you freeze a wet wash cloth (rolled up) and give it to him to chew on that helps...also chewie toys and treats can help to break the skin and let the tooth come through...it also helps to dislodge a tooth that is set too firmly.
My dogs love to chew on and play with ice cubes...maybe that would help...?
If the puppy is in a lot of pain, you might want to be sure it isn't something else, like a piece of bone or stick lodged in his gums.
