Oh Happy Day!!! Buddy is finally holding it from 11:00 to 6:30 a.m. Except when other dogs in the neighborhood bark and wake him up. I am actually happier about this than when this happened with my daughter. At least with her I didn't have to go outside.

Ha ha! Good for you, Lisa and Buddy! Before long you won't even remember those nights outside.

What age do they hold the water? at the moment we are or I will reword that I am getting up at 4.30am so Otto has a dry bed, if I sleep past this he uses his training pad, but I dont want him to get used to this as he might think it is an option for through the day.

I don't know that there is a point where all dogs hold water well...but I can tell you that I used the potty pads and my dogs did not become dependent on them...I just started moving it closer and closer to the door and then put it outside and they got the idea...plus having a doggie door was a really good thing for us.
