I like the wild look, too, but my favorite pic is the avatar with his tongue out! What a great picture!

Shana, I have to say, I love both looks too! Tyke had her "dreadlocks" cut off about a week ago, and even though I LOVE the cut ( I got it from Boo's mom), it is always a shock when you first see them. Now I love Tyke's shorter hair - she loves water, whether it be swimming, or playing with the hose or in a mud puddle - AND now, it doesn't take her hours to dry!!! I will probably let her hair grow out in the cooler months, but there are some definite advantages to her new summer cut!!!

Here's Tyke after her cut

And her avatar was taken just before her cut, as was this picture.

Face it, our doodles are cute no matter what!!!!

Thank your Lucky stars Shana. Cooper is a great looking dog. After taking Marley in for a cut, after a discussion of minor matting, he came back looking like this.

From the "wild" look, which we are so fond of. We have learned however that there is a happy medium between too long and too short. I have gotten used to it the shorter look, but prefer it longer. It has its advantages. Dries faster and cleans up quicker and less snow attaching to him. I am now armed with brushes and combs, so that we don't have to put him (or us)through this once again.

Cooper looks great. What I would not have to have gotten a cut that looks that good Shana. Not too short, but you can still see a shorter length. He will be wild once again.

Default thanks

I appreciate the kind words...we're getting used to it now. And we gave him a shower tonight and let him airdry...he looks much better. They used some nasty perfume or shampoo at the groomer that made me sneeze! He's now smelling like Petco Almond Vanilla.

I think the body and legs look great, after getting used to. Next time we will ask them not to trim so much below his eyes.

We were most happy that he had some of his red hair still...we were afraid that might all get cut off.

Thanks!
Shana and Cooper
