Default Adopted dog from NSPCA -labradoodle?

Hello,

My husband and I just adopted a dog from the NSPCA. He is a great boy! The NSPCA listed him as a labradoodle. He is a beautiful light yellow and cream color. He has lab ears and wavy fur. His fur is a little coarse but we are not sure when he had his last bath. He has a "scruffy" face.

Any breed specific things we should look for?

I will take a picture and post.

Thank you

Would love to see a picture! My Daisy has smooth ears like a lab and a curly and somewhat coarse coat on her body.

post a picture. I love to see any and all doodles. And it will make it easier for us to say if it is a doodle for sure. They can have so many different looks as my male looks more like your typical doodle and my female looks nothing like him even thought they are littermates.

I Believe he's definitely a doodle probably a f1 by the look of him. He's gorgeous, I wonder if his hair was cut short and how long it ends up growing over time. Does he shed at all?

Such a handsome boy Congrats! He looks like the doodle that used to come to dog park around here. So indeed I agree with those who say he's an F1 doodle!

My cousin's F1 looks exactly like that. The hair never got any longer, it didn't need to be groomed but it did shed. Beautiful dog.

I agree with the F1 comments. He kind of reminds me of my Juneau...

This doodle could be my Bunker's twin. It looks exactly like him! He is an F1 doodle. So cute!
