Default Curious about a grooming comb

This is a video we found on grooming. Has anyone used a comb like this? It must have a razor edge up in it. Im interested in grooming Chloe at home to preserve the look of her coat and be able to groom her ourselfs. She has a wavy coat now and have heard that if you clip them short the coat gets curlier. Thanks Mark & Krystal.

i would use whatever feels comfortable to you..there are alot of products out there that are very good..some, expensive and other s cheap..

its a matter of what works best for you and dog..after trying out a number of different brush s and combs ..i ve settle on the oster large tooth and another oster medium tooth comb..

No I haven't used this, but I have watched this video. His technique of holding up the hair to brush out the hair underneath and take out excess undercoat helped me to more properly use the brush I currently have (lespooches.com). The brush is the purple one. Yes its ridiculously expensive but my doodle has a very tight thick woolly coat and its the only thing that has worked to keep him mat free. I guess you would say Ace molts, he doesn't shed.

I thought when I saw this you would have to be very very careful with this - it just doesn't look like a beginner's grooming product or one I would use on a puppy either...

After reading replies & further research this isnt the tool that I thought it was. Chloe doesnt have super thick or curly hair she has a loose wave coat that doesnt shed yet or mat.I guess I was looking more in the way of an alternative to clippers. Thanks for the feed back ,M&K
