Combing

Should I be combing my 10 week old Labradoodle? I really don't want him to get matted like some of the posts I have read on here. What kind of comb should I use? Thanks.

a brush could nt get down enough to get to the matts..instead i started using different kinds..even some from the Dollar Tree store..

finally i settled on a Oster, large tooth comb..
