Default Brenna and phone behavior

When I get on the phone, she is a brat, wants to play, barks, and is worse than any kid that ever bugged me while I was on the phone.
Other than that, she is a pretty good pup.
DD's doodle grabs stuff she shouldn't have when DD is on the phone.
Do we have strange doodles? I have had many dogs and never had this problem before.
But I do love her and she makes me laugh every day.
I lost my dear husband in March, and I know he sent her to me.
Some day I will tell the story of how I got her.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your husband I'd feel the same way, that my dog was sent to me. We'd love to hear your story sometime when you're ready to share! My friend's dog (he's not a doodle) does the exact thing you described. My friend and I like to chit chat on the phone and the whole time her dog is whining and barking at her and insisting he has her attention, it's too funny but I know my friend gets really annoyed! My doodle doesn't do that but she does get into stuff sometimes she shouldn't. Last week I was on the phone in the living room in the front part of my house. When I got off the phone I went back into the family room and realized Daisy had gotten into my kids' Halloween candy, I found 3-4 suckers chewed and sticks laying around. Naughty!!!! I was thankful it wasn't chocolate though. But I know she did it because I was on the phone, she chews the kids little plastic toys when I'm on the treadmill, too. They just like their attention I guess

Nope not strange compared to mine. He'll be sound asleep and as soon as I'm on the phone he's up wrecking havoc
