New Labradoodle/Standard Poodle?

Hello everybody! I am a new doodle owner and new to this website. My name is Megan and my dogs name is Miley. I am in the military and another military member needed to rehome their doodle due to military housing. I have been thinking about getting a doodle anyways so we gave Ms. Miley a home. She has been wonderful for the most part. We were told that the previous owners got her from a lady that found puppies on the side of a road in a box. She told me that Miley is a labradoodle, but I am not sure if she is a labradoodle or maybe just a poodle. She is two years old and has a very wooly, curly, thick coat. Her tail is also docked. I will try to attatch some pictures, but any opinions would be very greatful! I know the pictures aren't the best, and yes, Miley is going to the groomer on Monday so any opinions on how to get her groomed would help as well. She does have some matts here and there but I don't really want her to be shaved. Thank you everybody for looking!!!

She looks like a doodle to me...but either way What a beautiful girl!

Miley looks like a Doodle to me as well. She's adorable! Congrats!

Hi Megan,
Miley def looks like a doodle. In fact I think she looks a lot like Ace (see pics in the photo gallery). Same thick wooly hair too. I won't kid you that it isn't easy to keep dematted. We also made a mistake and let it get too long at one point and that was a problem. Also, we have found that regular grooming brushes just can't get thru his hair that well. Finally broke down and bought a very costly brush from www.lespooches.com on the recommendation of the groomer. Get the purple one if you do it. And brush alot!! Works like magic! I figure it will save us in the long run with grooming costs!
