to firm them, try pumpkin, for probiotics, try and make your own out of milk and kefir grains. waaaaaaaaay more probioticy than just yogurt. Winston use to be on it, but hasnt for a long time as the food he get is much better

daking - what food do you feed? Malcolm didn't take too kindly to the Orijen so after a few days of chicken and rice we're going back to the Nutro Natural Choice (puppy).

Malcolm also gets yogurt. He gets Fage Total 2% plain yogurt.

After reading all this the other day, I bought Bogart some plain yogurt.
The first time I used it, yesterday, I mixed a little over a teaspoon in with his Orijen kibble! That teaspoon went a long way as I mixed it....the kibbles all turned white and sticky. I heard no usual crunching of the food, so I think he was swallowing the kibbles whole. He didn't eat quickly, but I do think they should have time to chew.
SO! I now decided to let him lick a teaspoon of it a day, say mid afternoon.....and not mix it in with the food. I'll do that later and before dinner.
