I live in Colorado. I have a 2 year old Labradoodle. Scratches quite a bit. Could be (a) mesquitos, (b) fleas, or (c) ticks. Do you recommend Advantix II or Frontline Plus (or another product)? Also, what food do you feed your Labradoodle.....because I understand diet could be a part of the problem. I am currently feeding IAMS Adult. Thanks.

we use Advantix on all 3 of our dogs..covers fleas, tick and mosquitos..
as for food..check the ingredients of Iam s..it s loaded with a grain products..look into a grain free food..my choice is either Origen or Evo..both are high in protein and fat..it s cost is more..but, you won t have to feed as much..so it even s out in the long run.. there are other grain free foods..but, these 2 seem the highest on the nutrition scale.. |

Our 7 month old puppy has had many issues with food sensitivity causing itching and also diarrhea. We have tried sooooo many foods and so far these are the ones that seem to be good for her and she doesn't scratch with:
1) Natural Balance Limited Ingredient (sweet potato & venison) - all life stages 2) Royal Canin Medi-Cal hypoallergenic |

We live in Canada, and get both these brands from the natural pet food store here. The Natural Balance food is made in the USA though so you should definitely be able to get it there. Try googling it and see which stores carry it or you can order it online.
