Default Frozen ribs?

Just curious if anyone else gives their dogs frozen ribs on these hot days?
Other breeds can handle them no problem, where some have issues. I have been giving Winston frozen ribs (freezer burnt so we cant eat them) for a while on these hot days. When I am asked by others how I keep him cool, and tell them, they look at me like I have two heads. I have given him both frozen beef and pork. Some shy away from pork for fear of splintering and choking. He has been eating them for a while with no issues. He is supervised. I know my friends dog cant eat them, and my past dog couldnt.
Tomorrow and Thursday are apparently going to be 46 degrees (115 for our americans) and he seems to love these pupsicles

I don't know about frozen ribs! I'm sure if you could ask Jasper, he'd say YES, YES, YES but he only gets ice cubes from me, lol...

Hmmm......well I guess if they are uncooked, they are fairly safe because they don't splinter like a cooked one will.
I may eve give this a try.

Just a quick story, I was driving around town with Bogart and stopped at a gas station. They have a fairly large area behind the building.
Since we had much more to do and he had not yet poo'd, I decided to walk him back there.
To my dismay, I quickly realized that this is where their employees must go to "dine". There is a picnic table under a tree.
3 times, I had to stick my hand down his throat and pulled out cooked chicken bones! The area being so large, I figured these people must just sit at that table and throw their chicken bones all over the place!
Chicken bones will splinter and cause problems. I think I won't use this area again where people throw out bones that become stinky, gross and rotten! UGH! I wished I had had a sink in my car to wash my hands! Not so much from Bogart's saliva, but the thought of people chomping on these and throwing them in the sunlight to attract flies and all kinds of YUCK!

This is funny, because we have SNOW here. Very unusual, snow right to sea level, over a foot of snow on the beach itself, the boys went cross country skiing right on the beach. Last time it snowed on the beach in Chch was over 15 years ago.

Ruff loved the snow. I'll have to see if I can find a picture.
