Default Labradoodle not eating-anaplasmosis diagnosis

Hi, I'm new...Ben, 2 1/2 doodle---happy, playful but not eating well. On Wysong w/supplemental and eats sometimes; othertimes not interested. He was diagnosed w/ anaplasmosis and vet has him on doxy and he perked up at first re: eating-now he's not. Still on meds. My trainer seems to think it is something other than anaplasmosis (very slight blue on test) but he had one slight seizure and loss of use of rear leg for 3/4 of day and I understand these, as well as not eating are signs. Confounded, though, because he's still on meds and not wanting to eat....any thoughts? Thank you kindly, jam

HELLO AND WELCOME!!!

As soon as I read this, I started doing a little research. Doxycycline appears to be the med of choice.......but since you're not seeing improvement, this article addresses that in other tests indicating that your trainer may be right.

Has your vet performed any other test as shown in this article?
