hi all
We have a 16 month old 5th generation Labradoodle, Chocolate colour and a wool coat. I have noticed over the past say 6 months on the top on his back he has a grey tinge, like every 100th hair is grey and is a little courser hair than the rest. Also i have noticed some parts of his fur feels a little dry Any ideas? |

Hi there!
If you search this site, you will find that MANY of our doodles had those course gray/white hairs as puppies. I have no idea why. Bogart had them as well and they just went away. He was completely black from head to toe as a puppy and now looks tie dyed! It's a BEAUTIFUL coat and people comment on it all the time......and btw.......his back and ears remained pitch black!

Hi Lindamarie
Yeah i had seen a thread on this but with Cody being 16 months i thought it a little strange if others are getting it as pups and Cody a little older? Also his fur can feel a little dry on top of his head and behind his ears . His fur is a deep chocolate colour with a light brown\golden muzzle tinge |
