Unhappy worried :(

I have a 2 year labradoodle who used to resemble a sheep. She had lots of tan colored curls from head to tail. She has since lost her hair & an enormous amount of weight. I took her to the vet asap & was told she had a wheat allergy. She is now on hollistic dog food. But.... there was no change. Her fur has not grown back nor has she gained weight. I took her back to vet who recommended a different type of hollistic food and still no change. She doesn't have a problem eating food, she eats a ton. She is still very a happy, spunky dog otherwise as well. Any ideas/suggestions to help my pup get back to her healthy self?

I would try a week or two feeding boiled chicken, rice, and veggies. When there is suspected food issues this is always a good fall back to see if they perk up, and then you can slowly try different kibbles to find one that works for your pup. Did the vet do any blood work or am x-ray. Those symptoms do suggest something is going on and it may be more than a food issue.

This is the GOOD THING!!! Trying Todd's suggestion may be something to try too. The hair may take awhile to grow back, but it's the "enormous" weight loss that concerns me.
Are her poo's normal? Is there any vomiting?

Maybe get a second opinion from another vet.

And there is the BARF diet, which I have not tried but people swear by....loads of information on the net.
