Default coat ch-ch-changes

Maybe this has been discussed/asked before...my apologies if it has.
I am a new labradoodle mommy, my guy max is a 9 month old chocolate colored bundle of joy and he is starting to go through some coat changes. I brush/comb and soooo much soft fur is coming out, I brush daily and this is something new for us. I have also noticed all these white hairs that are suddenly appearing along his back, in his tail and some around his bottom. He has very blue skin does this mean that his beautiful chocolate color is going to change to a silvery color or are these just those kemp hairs that I keep reading about? Never having had a labradoodle before it's so hard for me to know the difference.
Any help would be fantastic! Thank you!

WELCOME!

Oi! Yes, coats change! We got Bogart at 9 weeks and he was coal black with those tiny little white hairs starting to stick out at around 5 months.
They all disappeared and now we have what I call a "tye dye" doodle!

His mom is an English Yellow Lab and his dad is a beige/gray poodle.
SO! At 3 years old, Bogart's back, ears, tail and under belly hair are still black, BLACK ...yet his muzzle is a rusty brown........and oh my! His legs are the prettiest "beigey/silver"!
He looks like he was dunked in a pool of bleach water!
Some people think he's older than 3 because of the legs.......but once he shows his white teeth and puppyish behavior, they know he's no old man!
OH! I found ONE of those white stray hairs in his tail the other day and plucked it out!
