Hi everyone
My labradoodle Alfie is coming up to 6 months of age. He has already had his first puppy trim back in March, just around eyes, paws, under arms, bottom, etc.... I wasn't happy with the cut, he lost all his labradoodle features around his face and she left a paw out so it looked odd! I am due to go to another groomer in June, but really as it is getting warmer here in the UK wondered if I should have Alfie clipped. He has a lovely fleecy coat which is easy to brush and get through, it doesn't get matted (at the moment anyway). The groomer said they will TRY to clip him as long as he doesn't get nervous. I understand that, but don't want to have a half clipped dog if that happens! lol My question is, does anyone know of a groomer in the Kent area (I am in Orpington) who knows the labradoodle 'look' and knows how to keep within their characteristics? I am worried I am going to end up with another groomer that just gives him a basic cut that they give all breeds of dog. Thanks for your time in reading this. |
