Hey guys!
I have a 7year-old male F1 Doodle with a wavy, lab-dominant coat. We were considering getting a shedding blade, but I was wondering what effect that might have on his wavy hair? I certainly don't want to damage the hair stalks or thin them out, really, I just want something that will run through and catch the loose hairs better that a normal brush. Any suggestions? Thanks, guys! |

i use a large bladed metal comb by Oster..all i do is comb out the loose hairs and whatever he might picp up outside..
also use it on a schdoodle, golden retriever, saluki and my labradoodle.. to thin the undercoat without affecting the top coat i use a Coat King.. |

I use the Furminator.
I don't do it often and maybe should do more. I "furminated" Bogart this weekend and had enough hair to make a small puppy! ![]() I think he's changing his winter coat and needed it. He has a fleece coat and it's wavy. His legs are fairly curly......the Furminator has not effected this coat in any way other than to get rid of that undercoat stuff.
