Default Dog Bed suggestion for adult

Hi,
I am trying to find suggestions for a new bed for my 5 year old F1 Labradoodle. I searched but the newest related post I found was from 2008, and I hope beds have changed from then. He's a big guy, weighing about 108lbs. No, he's not fat or unhealthy he's just a big dog, he's tall etc.. Anyway I am trying to find a bed that is plush, sturdy, and hearty enough for him to sleep on at night. I am not sure that an orthopedic bed is a good idea, or maybe it is b/c he's so big. He doesn't suffer from any joint or movement problems, eats good organic food, and takes missing link (b/c I have another dog that needs it) so hopefully it would be a while, if ever that he "needs" and orthopedic bed. Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome I keep looking but I am somewhat at a loss. Also, he doesn't chew.
Thanks!!!

Here is what we bought for Daisy a few months ago from Overstock.com, she LOVES this bed!! Honestly, to me it's not the most attractive looking bed and wasn't my favorite choice, but after looking a lot online we decided to order it based on the great reviews and the good value. There's some pricey beds out there, so I guess, too, it depends on how much you want to spend. Anyway, we have the boring tan but from the minute we took this bed out of the box Daisy stepped right into it and has slept in it every night since. She dives right in it like a giddy child! Not sure if it would work for you or not since it sounds like your dog is a big boy. Daisy is only 35 lbs and sleeps curled up in a ball so that's why I liked this style. And I like that it's machine washable, I haven't washed it yet so we'll see if it really and truly holds up. It comes in bigger sizes, too. Happy shopping

Hi. We have LL Beans basic dog bed. One side is a soft canvas and one is soft flannel.....Molly prefers the flannel. Cover is removable and washes great! It comes in 4 different colors and four sizes I think. Sizing was accurate....Molly can curl up in a ball or stretch out. It is super well made....comes in round or rectangular. We actually have both...one for upstairs in our room and one in the family room downstairs. I looked at tons of beds and bought a couple cheaper ones, but they don't hold up nearly as well. I think this one was 99.00 (free shipping) for the large....not sure what Xtra large was....Molly is 60 lbs. Anyway, I would not hesitate to suggest this bed to anyone. Good luck! Judy

or you could just let him sleep in bed with you

Toby s a big boy too..he get s hot too fast if he lays in a bed for too long..then its usually on to the carpet..then the bathroom floor tile and eventually downstairs on the tile entry way..
