about a rehome she has that supposedly was demonstrating certain behaviors...one was: Quote:
I am not aware of anything we are doing/have done to encourage this at times... What does anyone suggest to nip this pushing in for attention and petting.....or to get a treat first....they will both sit and stay... but then Abby will get up and push in, if she isn't going to be first receiver of the attention....?????????? Thanks,

For me it works to an advantage/disadvantage. If I'm combing one....all three want done. The same for nails and baths. Makes it easier for me to get the next victim. Does make it difficult to use scissors. I have to put two in the yard then.
I don't really have any advice.....but I'm sure someone will.

We have a name for the behavior...
"Yeah, but what about me???" That is what it feels like they are saying....hahaha No real answers...we have that happen a lot and if it is too much, I put an x-pen around me and the dog I am working with! |
