Odd sale of 2 pregnant doodles

Is it unusual to sell a pregant female LD? I ran accross an ad for 3 LDs, two pregnant and one male, 2000$. No details. I emailed asking about health testing and lineage of the dogs. Not something you see every day Not something I want to take on, just posting for curiosity.

Once, when I was starting out, I contacted Tegan Park and they said that they would ship a female and quoted a high price and then said that I could get a pregnant one for $30,000! I think it happens, but I would prefer not to participate in something like that.
