Default Canidae problem?

I read too much! I went on line today to look into Canidae's breeders program and when I put "Canidae" into the search box I noticed something negative about it a couple of collums down. Needless to say, I had to check it out as I am a big fan of Canidae.
Don't know if there is any thing to it, but it is a very recent complaint and it is something to maybe store in your noggin in case you feed your dogs it and they start acting funny.

It makes me wonder if any of our dogs food is completely safe anymore. Thanks for posting. Just makes me more intense on getting into gear and switching to Raw Diet.

Thanks for posting. I use Canidae too, I have not noticed any odd illness...but I'll watch! We almost lost a puppy to the Eukunuba puppy food before the recall came out...so boy, do I know the symptoms!
Wise advise...keep an eye on your dogs and you will know if all is well.
I appreciate the heads up.

Checked into it alittle bit more. Seems the bags in question were dated June 07. My new bag says "JU" and then a smear, then "23 07". With "JU", I am unsure if it is June or July, but at least the day wasn't 07! I have fed out of this bag a few days now, but I am torn. I have seen no problems as of yet.
Here is another good link that I found the date from:

This is worrisome as we just switched to Canidae. At first Cali loved it and now she's back to being a picky eater again. Not sure what to do. Poohs aren't normal.

Ok we just finished a bag of Canidae that was dated June 07 to June 08
we noticed Max and peanut tooting alot with softer stools
HOWEVER we are now on a bag of Aug 07 to aug 21, 2008 and they are normal again. no tooting , firm stools. so is it coincedence? or not

don't know but all is going really well with Max and Peanut for past week on new bag. AS i almost was going to put them back on my customized boiled food diet if it didn't stop. it did
