List Your Toll Free Telephone!

Although I've been on the National Do Not Call List since its inception, it didn't occur to me until yesterday that I also need to list my toll free number, provided on my web site for people interested in purchasing a puppy.

I finally got a junk phone call yesterday, somebody who wanted to sell me an internet service. This is particularly irritating to me as the party who has purchased the toll free number, because they have basically placed a collect call without offering me the option to decline the charges, and I'm stuck paying for it. (Smoke emanating from ears... )

I just wanted to alert any of you who maintain a toll free number that perhaps it would be a good idea to add the toll free number to the Do Not Call List. Granted it's not foolproof, but it could help cut down on being stuck paying for phone calls from people who seek nothing more than their own personal gain at your expense.
