weeelllll.....we'll see, in the future if US breeders follow RM and TP with how they have bred other breeds in, but I don't know that I would go that far, Mickey. There are US breeders who are actually considering adding well-tested Cocker bloodlines. But you and Jac are correct, that there is a Cocker Spaniel component to the Doodles that came from Australian bloodlines.
Some breeders have distinguished themselves by saying they breed strictly "North American Labradoodles" = Dogs that were bred only from Labs and POodles. But now, with a few breeders breeding puppies that come from a Goldendoodle x Labradoodle and calling them North American Retrievers....it sort of confuses things with the hybrid puppies that are just the Lab x Poodle. Clear as mud? |

and I remember reading what Krista wrote on the breeder board a bit ago, but I still think at least the stance of the alaa (is that still politically correct?) is poodle lab currently? yes? of course I am ignorant and biased but my personal feelings I try to keep to myself! |
