Hi, everybody, I have a quest for a breeder who is responsibly breeding f1's with PARTI poodles - Preferably miniatures. Do any of you have access to a miniature poodle for F1's?
Is anyone breeding F1's here anymore? I have seen some f1's where a 7lb Poodle was bred to a 60lb Lab and the proportions are not what I want. However, if anyone has any tips on parti-factored f1's please send an email and let me know! |

I would not breed two dogs of such different sizes. Asking for trouble. Don't know anyone who is that also does any health testing. Maybe others know of some in the US.
I can pass on a website of a breeder who does breed doodles with an untested male if you still want to talk to them about their stud knowing the risk of his unknown genetics, a miniature parti poodle. They are in Canada so you would have to AI shipped frozen semen. |

As for your 2nd offer, thank you again, I think, but no, I am not interested in working with someone who uses an untested male, exactly because I do know the risks of working with unknown genetics. I have bred my F1 girl Copper to a Miniature Poodle successfully several times with a Miniature Poodle and have NEVER EVER gotten any puppies with poor confirmation so I have an idea or tolerance of a certain size difference in mind and I will continue to look around, but thought maybe some of the breeders here might know someone I'm not aware of. |
