For the purpose of helping to clear up a question on this for someone in a different state, I found the following information that gives state specific laws regarding minimum ages at which pups can be sold, OFFERED for sale, etc. I thought others here might find it interesting too.

For some reason the link didn't work for me...
I know that here in California, the age is 8 weeks unless a vet authorizes a younger transfer. |
