Safe-Guard Goat Dewormer (Intervet) Contains 10% Fenbendazole for the removal and control of stomach worms in goats. Dosage is 2.3 ml per100 lbs. of body weight. Panacur BY: C. KNIGHT (KIPLING, NC) - Jan 16, 2006 ITEM #: 33534 I use this product for routine oral deworming of my alpacas using a medication syringe at a dosage of 1cc/10# body weight every 4-6 weeks. Have not had any adverse reactions. Very effective. If high numbers of strongyles are present in fecal samples, I deworm with a double dose for 3 days and continue normal deworming. Usually also takes care of tapeworms. Not effective for coccidia. I am not a veterinarian and am not making recommendations. Please check with your vet before using on your own

Thanks Kathy
I have used it before and love it,, just lost my file with my med and dosage chart,,duhh Thought it was 1cc per 5lbs..hmmm I am going to use the 1cc per 10lbs dosage, for 5days, that gets rids of most all worms ,its the old treatment for Coccidia and i think it works better then flagyl on giardia,, Im going to worm pups with it next worming Im almost sure that is the canine dosage as well anyone else?? |

My vet worked with me on this ... he looked at the bottle I use, the solution percentage (10%) and looked it up in his book on medicine/doseage.
1 cc per every 4 lbs of weight. |
