Yes, F1 Labradoodles can have fleece coats but they are the exception. You have selected a lovely pup and I am certain that you will be thrilled with the coat and the pup! |

Linda, Bogie looks very much like my F1 females and the coat you describe is like theirs...when it is cut a bit, it is very soft, but when it is full lenght, it feels a bit coarse. My girls shed lightly too.
Many people confuse "hair" with "fur"...the reason most dogs cause allergy problems is that they produce "fur" even though it feels like coarse hair...and Poodles have "hair" coats because, like humans, they don't shed and it is not the same as other dogs "fur" so, the coat that looks like "hair" is really fur and the wooly Poodle coat is really "hair". |

I like the hair on my breeder's poodle and the Fur on Max is jet black and the fleece on peanut is so soft
