Hi -- We're new to this forum, but this seems to be the place to come for Labradoodle-related info.
We're a family very much in the market for a Doodle but we simply can't get a puppy: both us parents work full-time (with some flexibility on hours) and our daughters, 11 and 13, are in school during the day. What we're hoping to find is a one-year-old or older who needs a new home and who, after the initial adjustment period, can get by with crating and a mid-day walk (aside from morning and evening romps, of course). We had a beloved mutt for twelve years who passed away a few years back; in size and coat and temperament he was so similar to a Labradoodle that the breed seems like the right choice. I'm hoping someone here can either give us advice or point us to a dog somewhere in the Northeast. (We're in Massachusetts, Boston area.) That one-year-old down in Georgia recently posted looks like a great guy but he's just too far away for us. Any thoughts? Thanks much! Ty and Lori |
