tell them it's a miniature fluffy horse?

actually, introduce them. my cousin isn't a dog fan, but she warmed up to Jonah quick! how she feels about puppy kisses is a different story......

Would you believe I was the lone hold out in our family on the dog issue. My husband and kids were all for the idea for YEARS. I had all sorts of great excuses stocked up. Finally one day they all ganged up on me at once and ambushed me. Well the real story is they were buying crickets for our gecko and found the "cutest puppy in the universe" and the pet store. The planets must have aligned just right because I said, let's talk when I get home. That evening they took me to the store and I had to work VERY hard to resist. Then they let this puppy out of his crate and he came bounding toward me---tongue lolling and ears flapping (still a sucker for that look). I caved. I tried to resist loving him but...there was no way. Next thing you know I'm suggesting we take Chester to the dog park, I'm joining this forum and I was searching for a second one and we got Archie. There is NO fighting the persuasive qualities of a doodle. I swear I was NOT an easy case to crack!!!

confession here too Chesterpal: I said NO for 5 years to my kids and 1yr to my fiance....and I mean the firm not up for discussion NO DOGS!!

OH I had a list of reasons, allergies & asmtha being #1, that I end up walking the dog in 3ft of snow, torrential rain, housetrain, obeidence train and oh boy I could on for HOURS for the TOP 100 reasons why till hell freezes over that I would have another dog again.

yeah right, 2mos ago breeder has 13wk old puppy advertised. and my fiance say look honey remember how you said these dogs are hypoallergetic and dont shed?
I say OK, WE'LL LOOK BUT DON'T THINK YOU'RE COMING HOME WITH A LABRADOODLE.

2HOURS LATER, Max wormed his way into my arms, car, my house and all our hearts. The sad puppy dog look, floopy droopy soft ears ohhhhhh did I ever melt that day with Max following me around not leaving my side.

these dooodle know how to do it!!! ---love at first sight!

I still remember my teenagers coming home in disbelief we had a puppy the one they always wanted: . FOR 1 week they really thought i was dog watching someone else's dog!!
(yeah big dogsitter for freinds here)

Soo chesterpal, I like you caved in ...yeah I'm a big toughie huh! :

I worked on my darling husband (DH) for 10 years to get a dog and I finally prevailed. He went from "it's your dog and your responsibility, blah, blah, blah" to cuddles and hugs. The other day I heard him telling Boyd he loved him. And, who called immediately after the vet appointment to see if Boyd was okay? DH! And who said to Boyd "my poor little guy" when we found out he wasn't being taken out by the dog walker? DH! I could go on and on......

I spent the first six months staring at Chester and saying "We have a dog"...neighbors who knew my dog stand were all amazed. And NOW I've been known to ask about the pups BEFORE inquiring about our teenagers!

Kathy,,, I was holding 3 week old Goldendoodles yesterday. ohhhh puppy smell. MAX was sniffing me like a hoover vacuum when I got home. I;ve become friends with my breeder and she lives 4mi down the road.

Not sure If i'm going to get a goldend D or wait for the next labradoodle litter. Tough choice.

In one of our posts we all are admitting our addiction, so here goes:
I, Annmarie , am a DoodleAholic and damn proud of it too!!!
