Thinking about being a guardian...

Hi, I am looking at being part of a guardian program for an austrailian labradoodle. I am excited at getting to have a (hopefully) healthy dog in an affordable way. Yet, signing a contract is always a bit nerve wracking.

Is there anyone here who has done this who can share their experiences, good or bad with being. Guardian?

Also, what should I be aware of/ ask about before signing? Any specific clauses that should be in the contract to protect all parties involved?
