Hi - we will probably be picking out our Labradoodle this weekend, and she will probably be one of the 4 shown in the picture. The pups are 6 weeks old in the pic, and the apricot on the far right was the 'runt' of the litter and required bottle feeding for several weeks.
Can you tell what 'look' they will have when grown? Of course, personality / temperament is the most important, and looks secondary (heck, if looks were important my wife wouldn't have chosen me! Thanks, Bill |

Bill, they are tooooo CUTE!
I want them all...... It's really hard to tell what these pups will look like. I wish we could. My husband and I like the chocolate one looking right at the camera. It shows confidence. Yet, I also like the other chocloate one with the eye... I also like the apricots, but I am just partial to darker doodles.....just my preference. The chocolates seem like they will have a fleecy coat too. Also.....I wish I could think of the name of the test we used so you could read it. It includes things such as: -See if they let you play with their paws and toes.......ears.......mouth etc. -Drop objects such as keys, books etc and see if they shy away. Does anyone recall what this test is? It's awesome! HERE IT IS!! THE MONKS SKETE TEMPERAMENT TESTING! Temperament Test

Thanks for the reply Linda. I'm a bit partial to the chocolate as well, however, it is my wife's Birthday on Saturday, so she gets 51 percent vote. We will be discussing the selection with the breeder of course. Our children had their votes (grown children - out on their own - one has 3 dogs, including 2 goldendoodles and one other had a Bernese) - of course they said BOTH! No way ...
I'll keep you posted. Bill |

so hard to make such a decision..sorta like a 5star restraunt, you can t go wrong with anything on the menu..
im partial to the apricots Toby was shy and not nearly as active as his siblings..as i found out the shyness was his temperment..that shyness eventually matured into a very mellow, loving dog..who enjoys the company of people, children and other dogs..with other animals, he s just indifferent.. though im partial to lighter colored coats..the chocolats are very cute too.. |

That's from the same basic source. I like the way it gives the numbers at the end....where it seems #3 is the best?? That website let me to a website on Bouviers. Which led to a story from a woman titled Don't Buy a Bouvier! It had me in tears remembering my beautiful Bouvier and the 26 pups he sired. Now......the reason I'm partial to dark, is because my Bouv was the exact color of Bogart. Bogart is more often called a Bouvier and next a PWD. In fact, I have a picture I show everyone of my Bouv and they can only say WOW...as he looks almost exactly like Bogart. One lady who HAS a Bouvier stopped me in the mall and asked me where I got my Bouvier? She was shocked to hear he was a Labradoodle, because she has a Bouv and they didn't crop the tail or ears.......Bogart is the spittin' image. Okaaaaaaaay! A little off topic! Glad you printed that, Bill. I think it will be a great help to you and your wife!
