and it could be there is another dog who needs us more then this one did.

And I'm sure there is....patience is the key here, plus the waiting will give your son's heart a little more time to heal..in the meantime, maybe you can get your son involved in your search for the right Doodle....it will make him feel better that he has input in choosing the right dog for your family...((((((((((((Big hugs to all of you!!!))))))))))))))
