Hey everybody, I'm so glad to say that about 2/3 of our puppies are already reserved!!
They are getting big, and CUTE!!! The work of taking 235 pictures, to try to find one or two of each of the 25 feels SO TEDIOUS and thankless.....right up until one of the people who have reserved a puppy writes to say they LOVE the pictures on our website! I need to keep that appreciation in my mind while sorting thru countless pictures of a puppy trying to climb off the table/prop to come and be with me! pictures? Does anyone want pictures here? (I love that picture/caption!) HERE are our 4wk old current doodle-babies: ![]() |

Beautifull puppies! I hear ya on the pictures. I enlisted my wife as the photographer. She took the pics and picked the good ones and I made the website and kept it updated. I think I got the easy job! Its so hard to get the perfect shot of each puppy but I think it is totally worth the time and effort. I really think having great pictures helped us sell out so fast compared to our local competition. you should see some of the photos people use and think it will sell a pup. Your puppy shots are great!

Oooooh, Maureen, the babies! All grown up!! (Look at the bumpy headed ones! haha, so that the forum folks know, that is what Cindy's child said about the curly pups.) They are WONDERFUL!
HAHAHAHAHA Todd, you have that nailed! Whew! The potty smell! When we lived in another place, we had an area that we could leave the door open and we attached the puppy's x-pen to it and as small as they were, they would try to wait to go outside! We are trying to set up something like that here. Anny, I am sooooo glad to hear you say that! I agree! The pictures of the perfect pup on an antique table with soft lighting and the perfect pose (sometimes wearing a hat or surrounded by flowers...) Well, we live in the real world and my pups pics are taken where they live...sometimes I am lucky and get a nice shot...but usually they are not that great. I think that Todd meant the natural shots that turn out good...like the ones Maureen posted here...not the Starz-pose! LOL The toughest part for me is getting faces! I have many tail shots, poop shots, and blurry running around shots! |

Today I showed my mom, brother, 2 aunts, and a cousin the pictures on your website, and there were many ohhhhs, awwws, how cute. All of your wonderful hard work is definitely appreciated and enjoyed many times over! (I think I have the pictures memorized
Jac, I think of what Kristopher said about the curly ones every time I see the pictures, he liked the smoother one when asked why he said the others were bumpy. I agree, who would want a puppy with bumps all over it, Cindy

Oh Maureen, if you knew how many times in one day I think of "puppy" you would crack up. Yes, I am most definitely a nut case and doubt if it will change much when the new pup gets here!
After I showed my family the pictures, one of my aunts from NC showed us pictures of her dog's birthday party, four dogs eating frozen dog desserts in a cup (can't remember the name of them). We were all together because of my great aunt's funeral yesterday and luckily my mom has a computer so I could show off the puppies (first thing I did when we arrived at mom's house, pull up your site and announce it was time to see puppies). They brought smiles to everyone! We are all wacko over our pets, we could have worse vices Cindy

Sadie! She is a beauty! (Well, they all are!)
This is a lot of fun...I love sharing your joy, Cindy! Maureen...you are always welcome!!...but better come early...that beautiful meadow will turn into Foxtail Hell! Right now we have a seasonal pond and it is really great! Once we get settled and stable with our funding, I hope that we can hire someone to come in and get rid of the foxtails once and for all...and put in grass or a green ground cover so that it is always pretty like that. |
