I had a rather comical misunderstanding with an Aussie on the tennis team with me back in college - he was horrified to find out that Americans "shag" in public. He didn't know the dance, and I had no idea what that word meant to him!!!
He turned out to be a pretty good dancer, and couldn't wait to go back home to tell his mates!!!
By the way, I'm not surprised Tyke was the better dancer - couldn't you tell that she was leading???
