Several years ago I had a 115 lb Rottie that I had on a six foot leash outside on the front porch. The phone rang, so I handed the leash to a teenaged visitor who the dog knew and ran inside for a minute. Just as I came back out a squirrel came down the tree not more than 10 feet from her.

She took off like a shot, the girl was airborn and flew right over all 4 steps, and landed on her belly in my front lawn. As soon as the dog realized what she'd done she stopped and came to check on her, but I had a tough time not laughing at the site of her launch. Luckily she was unhurt.
