Good article, with the same thoughts on cross breeding.

As posted elsewhere in the past few days, I'd also be concerned about unlimited access to the breeder's kennel. Absent a pregnant bitch or a new litter visitors are fine, and yes, I love to show off my dogs (Deva will be promoted to Director of Marketing when she retires. That girl sells puppies!) but during critical times, there is just too much risk of harm to young puppies.

Though I've heeded good advice and not had the problem, horror stories exist from breeders who have been more lax in visitors, then have had to watch helplessly as an entire litter gets sick and dies. I don't want to go there!!!
