Default in search of young dog

We are looking for a 1-2 yr old, standard labradoodle (austrailian or other) or goldendoodle - black very fluffy/wavy/curly, long coat.

We will make the best parents ever. I intend to take the dog to work with me - where there are 5 other dog lovers. My husband and I have grown up with dogs and are looking to fulfill our dream of having a dog of our own.

We have a fully fenced yard and beautiful city neighborhood to walk in. All of our neighbors have dogs too.

We're hoping that if we put enough word out, there will be any answer to our wish. Thank you for any help.

I know of a chocolate one. Try poomixrescue.com as well. They have a lot of doodles on there.

Hi Sherry,
Congratulations on deciding to add a doodle to your family...you have made a wonderful choice. It sounds like you have a great home to offer too, so it should not be difficult to find someone willing to rehome a dog to you.
There are many options, rehoming is probably the best because you will usually know what you are getting...a rehome is generally a well-bred dog that, for some reason, can not stay at the home it is now in. This may be because a breeder is retiring a breeding dog or an owner has a change in circumstances...but it can also be due to training or temperament, even health, issues. So, as always, investigate fully.
The rescue sites are also great...but you risk getting a poorly bred dog that may have a number of issues. Still, many people are happy with the rescues they have adopted.
Best wishes on your search!
